baby update

I went to my weekly checkup and ... nothing new to report. My doc kept telling me to look at the positive side of things and remember that I am having a healthy pregnancy. That is very hard when every joint in my body is aching. He said that at the latest, I will be pregnant for 2 more weeks. That would put things around September 16.

  2. Why is it that you have until the 16th, when your baby counter says 6 days?

  3. My due date is in 6 days, but the way things are going (or, I should say the way things aren't going), my doc thinks that I'll go over my due date. My doc said that at MOST I will be pregnant for 2 more weeks, which makes me think thaty he'll start me around the 16.

  5. So when Joe came over the other night he said that it was a competition between the two of us on who will have their baby first. Well, when I went to the doctor today he said that my pelvis is way too small for the baby to drop, but we will see if it widens by the due date. So I'm going to say that you will have your baby before me. I know that doesn't help much, but maybe a little?

  7. I see that makes sence I guess. Just make sure it is only your feet that get it, or else I don't want to have to come and get you out of the tub while Joe is at work because you got stuck!! Good luck if you are bored Zillia will LOVE to play with you!! This one better make it to you!

  8. I can't believe you're already due! Wow! Exciting times ahead. Which doctor do you go to? I know you've told me, but I forgot. Anyway, you can tell your doctor and any nurses you see that I miss them, and as much as some days were really hard, over all it was a great, fun job.

  9. Amber - you are so close! Those last few weeks are the absolute worst. Hang in there! I'm trying to think of little knick-knacks and other baby items that I couldn't live without . . . for Allison I needed the boppy pillow. Nursing was so nice with one of those . . . I also liked having one of those shopping cart covers to put the baby in . . . but that's once they get a little bigger. Anyway - good luck these next few weeks! I'll be hoping for the 15th of September - that truly is the best day to be born!
