Corban isn't exactly crawling, he's frog hopping. He has four teeth now and is 20 pounds. Hopefuly when finals are over Joe will be able to install the new carseat so I don't have to break my back and arms trying to tote the boy around. 

I'm waiting for the video to upload, so I'll just tell all y'all about what's been going on. Joe interviewed with some guy in the Chemistry department and he will be helping a grad student this summer with finding other uses for St. John's Wort. It sounds exciting and a little bit dangerous! Ask Joe about it if you want a more detailed explanation. 

Joe has finals today and Friday. I think he's more stressed about Friday's test than he is about today's. He found out that he has to take a math placement test to take Calculus I this summer. Never mind that he took business calculus last semester and got an A. 

I've been trying to find a fun hobby that I love. I was chatting to my mom about going stir-crazy staying home all day. She told me that the only way she stayed sane was finding a hobby. Family History saved her, but it just doesn't float my boat. I've been making cards out of my scrapbook paper and sewing stuff, but I think it's a little hard for me to get all the stuff out to just have to put it all away when a realtor comes over to show the house. Which reminds me, we may be moving in the next little while. There has been a smidgen of interest on the house and we may be looking for new place to live. 

On a happier note, we joined the Disney Movie Club and should be getting our new Disney movies in the next week!

dentists, ugh

Eight months ago, I went to the dentist to get a root canal and a cap. Fast forward to today. I've been having problems with said tooth for a while now and finally decided to do something about it. I went in to the dentist today and he tells me that my root in said tooth is starting to get an infection. So, they slap the gas on, shoot me up and fix my tooth. They drilled a hole in my cap, took out my roots (I think. I was a little out of it right about this point. I do remember the dentist calling me a light weight.), and gave me oxygen. My jaw is really sore right now. Add on top of that a migraine I had last night, and I've had a great couple of days. On a brighter note, the dentist did not charge us for anything!

shopping spree here I come

The next time you see me, don't check me out, but I made it back to my pre-pregnancy weight! Can I get a what-what?! I still have 20 pounds to go to get my freakin' awesome shopping spree. I've already spent a little of it in my head so I better get a move on and shed those remaining pounds.

We had a great Easter. Joe and I hid eggs for each other and then took family pics. We hope that everyone had a great Easter!

crawling and such

Part of our daily routine is to watch "The Price Is Right". After I fed Corban this morning, I put him on a blanket on the floor. The boy is totally absorbed in tags and straps. He saw the strap to the diaper bag and started to scoot a little closer. He got up on all fours and crawled! I don't need to mention that the space he crawled from was only a couple of inches.

Corban has been cutting teeth and going through a growth spurt (I think) and didn't want to take one of his naps today. When he gets this way, I put him in his swing. This is what I found when I went to check on him 10 minutes later:

My brother is on the Wheelin' Jazz basketball team. They recently went to Denver and played in the final four for the NWBA but, sadly, lost. Here is a small clip that KSL did on the Wheelin' Jazz.
