I'm trying to find a hobby. I've tried crocheting ... I don't love it. I've tried sewing ... I like it well enough. I can't show what I've crocheted because they are for my in-laws for Christmas. Above are burp cloths. They were super easy to make and I'm now making blankets to go with them.
I got some beads from my mom and grandma, so I'm going to try my hand at those bead watch bands. I've also got an idea brewing in my head for a season display. I'll post pictures when I start.
Anyhoo, I'm trying to find something that I LOVE to do. What are your hobbies?
Those are some adorable fabrics! Where did you get them?
ReplyDeleteIt was at Joann's during a fantastic sale. Each quarter square was 80 cents!
ReplyDeleteNo way! That's awesome. It seems like I can never find cute fabric there. You totally scored.
ReplyDeleteYou could try painting, or pottery.

I have found that if I try to stick with just one hobby I get bored with it. So I kind of collect hobbies. I learn to do lots of different things, and then I can switch off, or combine my skills for different projects!
ReplyDeleteNice burp cloths. At least if you are in love with your hobbies, they still yield a nice product you can use or give away. Good luck finding something you love.
