My mom made me and my siblings a quiet book that lasted all the way down to me. I remember loving it as a kid and now appreciate all the time and work that it must have taken to create that book. This is my version of a quiet book that I hope Corban and my future posterity will like.

This page is a pocket for paper, colored pencils, and paper.

Match the shapes to the correct shape. The pocket is to store the shapes that aren't being used.

Who doesn't love Tic-Tac-Toe? This way you don't have to draw your own game. I still need to add a few more snaps to finishe this page.

Match the colors.

It's looking good! Did you figure out the buttonholes?
ReplyDeleteI found out that I do have a buttonhole option on my sewing machine and my mom tutored me on how to use it. It's not like the fancy buttonholes like on jeans, it's just a plain old square buttonhole, but it looks okay.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool looking. We have one, and the kids fight over it at church. I know how much work it is to make another one, so I have been putting it off forever, it would really help them not to fight at church though. That really looks good, I might have to copy come of your ideas, so the second book is different.
