Lately I've been feeling frumpy and overall unattractive with my big pregnant self. So, I went to Claire's in the mall and got my ears pierced and then went to the salon and got my hair did too! I'm feeling beautiful again. =)
When I got home last night, Joe kept staring and smilling. "I like your hair," he kept saying. After about the 10th time of him saying this, I wondered if he didn't like my hair before.
When I feel ambitious enough I'll take and post pictures.

fruit leather
I've been looking for these fabulous fruit leathers for over a year. I finally found them at Smith's Marketplace in the organic aisle. However, they have a website and they are about 10 cents cheaper to buy them online then they are at the store! Check it out at www.stretchislandfruit.com.

ten things i love about being pregnant
1. watching my feet disappear below my expanding belly
2. eating lots and lots of food
3. getting weird looks from strangers, wondering if I'm just fat or really pregnant
4. feeling the kicks, punches, and general movement of baby beck
5. having Joe talk to, give advice to, kiss, etc. my belly
6. buying all the cute cute baby things
7. baby socks
8. putting together an eclectic nursery .. thanks to all for all the great baby stuff!
9. enjoying medium-well steaks for the first time ever!
10. being able to go to sleep at 9:30 p.m.
One last thing ... if you'll notice the baby tracker on the top of my page, you'll see that my "days so far" number is larger than my "days to go" number. Holy crap dang! I'm having a baby soon!

shopping spree
This past weekend, Joe and I went down to the big city. We spent the night at Cory and Whitney's place Friday night, then on Saturday we bummed around until we went to Jared's wedding (a freind of Joe's). We also got to see Jeff and Emily for a little while as well.
One place we went to was Babies R Us were we bought a stroller, a car seat, a bassinet pad, a sheet, and a Boppy cover. There were so many cute, cute things at that store and I wanted one of everything! I guess it was a good thing that Joe was there to keep my spending in line. =) Today we're both so exhausted and stayed home from church. I don't think Joe drank enough water while we were out and about in the sun (I think we both forgot how to exist in sunlight)and I think he got heat stroke. The poor guy has been sick all day today. It's a good thing he has such a nice, sweet wife to take care of him.
Joe's little brother gave Joe his old, almost antique, rear projection TV when Joe came to Logan. Well, I tried hooking up our portable DVD player to it to watch a movie on the "big screen" and accidently broke it. Whoops. Anyway, atop the TV sits some of our wedding photos and all of our plants that Ruth gave us and I didn't have anywhere else to put those things, so the TV had to stay. My practical side wouldn't just let a broken TV take up that much space in our already tiny apartment, so I had a vision of making it into an enterainment center instead. With the help of Joe, we took out the projectors (those things are beastly heavy), moved the screen to the back, rigged up some shelves, and viola! Instant entertainment center. HGTV would be proud!

cold and dreary ... but it's not snowing!
Allergy season is here and both Joe and I are suffering, but I'm the one who's complaining about it. My nose is so stuffed I can't breath. I sound like I'm 50 pounds over weight and just ran a marathon -- it's sad when I've only been sitting at desk and snacking. There are only a few pre-approved allergy medicines (3) that my doc told me about: Benadryl, Sudafed, Actifed, and Claritin. Too bad that Actifed isn't made any more! And I am definately NOT Claritin clear. I am currently on Zyrtec and haven't seen any improvements. My next doctor appointment is in two weeks. I'll give it 'til then.
Spring is struggling to appear, but Logan has seen some sunny days. I even have the beginnings of a Chaco tan on my feet! It's been cold and rainy these past few days. It helps with the allergies, but Joe can't ride his scooter very well in the rain.
My parents are hopefully moving into their new house this weekend. They've worked really hard to get everything up to code to pass inspection. They find out today if they pass. If they do pass, we're helping them move into their new house. I guess I can put dishes away or babysit or get people drinks.
